On assignment by Trelleborgs Museum we made a short documentary on the soul of the Finnish immigrant that came to Sweden in three generations: first as children of the war, then as labour in search of work, and finally the children of those workers.

The story follows Malin Granroth, a child of immigrants, in search of her heritage. Now, with kids of her own, she is faced with task of explaining the complexities of heritage to her children.

The movie is part of the exhibition ”Den Sverigefinska Själen”, currently at Trelleborgs Museum in Trelleborg, Sweden.
